Eat4Change was an international initiative led by WWF and co-funded by the EU, aimed at promoting a shift towards more sustainable diets and food production methods. When the campaign made its appearance at the Flow Festival in Helsinki, WWF enlisted us to design and hand-paint a 1.5m x 3m triangular food stall stand to convey their campaign message. We crafted three characters to represent the advantages of a plant-based diet, highlighting health, strength, and a brighter future for our planet.
The illustrations were first designed digitally for client approval and then hand-painted on three large plywood panels. We chose to do the painting in our home garage studio, which turned out to be a smart decision because it rained for nearly a week before the festival. Thankfully, when the gates opened the weather turned beautiful and sunny, and the festival itself was a blast!
